Students will immerse themselves in the lineage of Iyengar, Vinyasa, Astanga, Restorative and Kundalini. A knowledgeable caring staff will guide you through this month long Intensive. You will be encouraged to explore your practice in your transition to teacher. The history of Yoga, Asana, Ayurveda, Anatomy, Meditation, Philosophy, Ethics, Methodology, Assists, Modifications for all levels and Promoting Yoga in Community.
This unique Island Yoga School allows you to have a retreat experience as you learn. Tasty, healthful meals are provided. One day off per week allows you to explore nearby Portland, Maine, a vibrant city rich in history, art, entertainment and fine restaurants. You may choose, instead to put your toes in the sand and do absolutely nothing but absorb the sights and sounds of this working waterfront.
